Marlowe and I were invited down to a miami for a farm visiting and picnic feasting. And well, you know us, we LOVE farms. And I have yet to meet a farmer and gardener I haven’t liked 😉  We headed down to visit Claudia and “Lily from Mamas-ami”— with an overnight staycation and the farm picnic morning planned. We woke up tuesday morning to pouring pouring rain, but we opted to attempt the farm day anyway. Claudia and I dressed the girls in boots and coats and headed out into the rain to meet Tiff of Plant Matter, we picked up horse poop (that’s how we all start our picnic days, right?) and headed to the shared garden space of Muriel of Little River Cooperative. By the time we made it to the farm, the clouds were gone and the sun was out. Thanks for always being wrong, weather guys.
We explored the gardens, ate delicious food, drank delicious tea, and enjoyed the sunshine. I really cant think of a better way to spend a tuesday. I know I say it all the time, but I feel forever grateful living down here. Land, sea, tropical gardens, city, farms— I really enjoy my home.
I’ve got a busy weekend planned— always wishing I had more time, but super looking forward to so many things. I’ve got a few giveaways planned for next week too! 🙂
Oh, and that tiny adorable little girl? That’s Bimini— Marlowe is obsessed.
Happy friday, friends!

OH. ps! Remember that alleyway garden I blogged about? The one in delray? They are having an event this saturday at 1 pm if you want to check it out! Learn more about it: here

  1. Your hair and Marlowe's hair look gorgeous in these photos. So amazing that she gets to experience this at such a young age.

  2. Looks like a fantastic day. Marlowe looks so grown up in the picture with the lovely yellow coat where she's looking at the camera, it's a really great shot. I love visits to places like this, and it's so nice for the little people to get a sense of where and how food is grown on a larger scale. We often go places even if it's damp, very often the sky clears and everyone has a wonderful time.

  3. this looks so awesome. I love California and we are spoiled here with our weather, but this post is making me seriously consider Florida. Gorgeous.

  4. Your photos with Marlowe and her friend are so adorable!
