Pretty similar, huh?
Marlowe is without a doubt a much cuter baby then I was, but you can still see a lot of similarities between us. Everyone says she looks identical to me now, and it’s true she does, but check out those baby photos!
And one of Momma, Lita (my grandma), &Drea
Momma &Drea
I miss my mom…. A LOT. I constantly want to text her “COME BACK!”. Marlowe and I are doing fine without her, but it was nice to have the help… and even more than the help it was nice to have her company. She looks so incredibly young in these photos… but I’m pretty sure she was a year or so older than me when giving birth. She’s only gotten better looking with age, which gives me something to look forward to 😉 But yeah, seriously, I miss her. Marlowe does too. It’s a good thing there is skype nowadays! It makes keeping connected a lot easier.
And for fun…. Photobooth shot with Babycakes 🙂
(Ignore my boobs. They have taken over &have a life of their own. I want them gone!)
PS:  Hey Momma, thanks for giving birth to me! I’m positive it hurt a lot. &thanks for untangling my hair when I was growing up and putting up with my constant crap (even now). And always being a huge supporter of everything I’ve done. And thank you for being the most amazing grandma in the world to my little one. She loves you a lot and misses your dancing (shhh, so do I). Love you Momma! 🙂

  1. I just found your blog.
    Your daughter is absolutely beautiful.
I'm a single mama too and I know how amazing it is to look at that little face and be filled with love and admiration and astonishment and fear all at the same time.
It can be a scary road, especially when you go it alone, but it seems like you are doin a marvelous job!

  2. I love her little look in the last photo. I can't tell if it's a "hmmm" or a "alright, when do we eat?"
