Last night I put on eyeliner and a dress and walked down to the wine bar to share some drinks with some friends. We gathered around a smaller table, shared a few bottles of wine, had some beer, and laughed a lot.

Afterwards we continued down the road to the bar we prefer on the street. We had the place to ourselves so I grabbed all the pretty lanterns for our table. We sat under a straw tiki hut with a chandelier and shared a few more drinks.

Eric and I left early to go home to my little lady baby.
Bye Fabian.

Sometimes I like to talk crap about this little town of mine, but in reality it’s so nice to be able to have so many friends within walking distance. So many bars, restaurants, little stores, and coffee shops all two blocks away. I’m going to be sad to leave this place.

Also, HERE is my twitter. I just made my tweets private (DUH). I promise to never drunk tweet (again).

  1. @Heliotrope: totally forgot to respond to the dress question! I got it at anthropologie. 30$!! doesn't get much better than that.

@Ellie- seriously. Probably my favorite of the wines… though I don't do much wine or alcohol these days! If I have anything in my house it's for cooking now. Ha.

@Carey- My theory is you gotta take em out as much as possible so that when their a bit older their used to it. I think it helps kids mature a bit. (Hopefully). It's usually not that bad now, since she's breastfed and all. But there are nights (like last night) where we only make it out 40 minutes cause she needs to sleep or is teething– or whatever. But that's life. As far as going out with out her… I try to do it once, MAYBE twice a month. But the few times I have gone out it's never longer than 2 or 3 hours or so.It helps that she started sleeping through the night now πŸ™‚

  2. looks like a lot of fun! I love seeing how you've been able to balance your social life since Marlowe has arrived. It's so inspiring to see how you take her with you almost everywhere, but also preserve time for you and your friends.

I might need some pointers in a few months on how to do that πŸ™‚

  3. I'm not actually going anywhere! Well, my lease is up in august and I most likely wont renew it. &I most likely will be moving in with Eric who only lives a few miles away, but that means: no more walking downtown anymore. I'll actually have to drive my car which means I'll have to use my dreaded enemy: the car seat.

  4. Leaving? Where ya goin'? Dooo tell! I've enjoyed getting to know your little corner of Floriday. Not too many people writing about it out there. I spent almost every vacation in Ft. Lauderdale as a kid growing up (in Long Island!) BTW, your dress is gorgeous! Where did you get it? If you don't mind my asking πŸ™‚ I am a dress girl!

  5. I am jealous of your adventures last night! Also of the beach trip the other day. Your picture posts typically bring that out in me as it is cold and rainy here in Oregon.
Also I sent you a request on Twitter. I don't mind drunken tweets. πŸ˜‰
