Well, India fest was a bust. My poor teething baby was not having it. We were there maybe an hour or so (I really have no idea– time keeping and I haven’t spoken in a while) before Marlowe starting aching, crying, and wanting to go. Luckily we were able to try some new food and watch some awesomely bad performances before we left. We met a lot of friends, but unfortunately I was only able to snap a few photos. It’s not the most fun thing to have to leave an event because of a baby, but it’s alright. It’s life– it happens. My only regret is not being able to check out any of the shops for cute things…. I wanted a little baby sari for miss Marlowe. Oh, andย missing the Michael Jackson impersonator!ย Oh well.
India Fest.
Today totally made up for it. Marlowe slept 11 or so hours straight! And what was better than that is: so did I! I still find myself constantly waking up throughout the night to check on her, but for the first time– I slept through the night too! So refreshing! Later in the afternoon we headed off to our friends house for some veggie grilling…. Their place is known as *the secret garden.*
Brown and orange breakfast. Pancakes. Mock sausage (I’m not sure how I feel about this). Tangerine. Mango.
Not cleaning.
The Secret Garden:
A neurotic bird with a feather plucking issue.
sleeeeep.
Here are some reasons to maybe voteย for ohdeardrea:
a) you think my baby is cute. b) you like this blog. c) you’re up at 12:45 in the morning compulsively checking my blog. d) you like clicking your mouse. e) you’ve never tried it before and are curious to see where the link leads you. f) you realize I don’t actually win anything through topbabyblogs, but it helps me meet fantastic people (maybe like you!)
