Holy half a year! I can’t believe how quickly the past six months flew by. Thanks to Marlowe, this has been the best 6 months ever— difficult, but the best ever. Miss Marlowe is once again not sleeping through the night. She is once again suffering some major mouth pain with her slow coming teeth and she has her first diaper rash. It’s not a good week for the little gal. She’s gotten excessive amounts of cuddles, hugs, and kisses to try help ease the pain– hopefully it all passes soon. She’s gotten incredibly skilled at grabbing EVERYTHING– those little hands are quick! She can easily pull herself up now to stand, but will only be allowed to do it with an adult hand to fall back on. She has tried and loved tomatoes and butternut squash, but still loves mamas boobs best of all. Her eyes still go back and forth from brown to blue and back to brown again. At times she’s the biggest giggle queen– but most of the time she’s not. She’s still a bit shy with waving &smiling strangers, but never completely scared either. She’s a happy and healthy little girl. I’m a lucky mama.

happy half bday marlowe! her dress is adorable and these pictures are so cute too. henry stopped sleeping through the night around 6 months too, if i remember correctly. it only lasted a couple weeks and then he slept like double to make up for the lost time. she'll start sleeping so soon!

Happy 1/2 Birthday Marlowe!! I have a 5 month old and it feels so weird to even say that she is 5 months old already! It's crazy! Just found your blog recently, I love it! Looking forward to reading more.
