Hello friends! It’s April over here! Well, and most places, I don’t get spring all to myself 🙂 It’s already hot hot hot here in Florida. Too hot— like, I haven’t left the house for a walk this week *hot*. What else is April bringing besides the warmer weather? Well, for me… it brings: not very well planned out April fools jokes, on and off rainy days, and a second trip to Atlanta! Yep, as part of my birthday gift from Eric: we are all flying up to Atlanta again! We’ll be staying with Sara and her kiddos (Hi Cassie! Hi Thurston!) &we’ll be meeting Fabian, Kim, &Steve there too. Eeep only 14 days until travel! (Marlowe’s first plane ride!) I can’t wait!
Also, this weekend brings a visit from Marlowe’s father. It seems he still has his own interest in mind rather than Marlowe’s best interest… but we’ll see. Being a parent is about kids health, safety, and happiness first! Here’s to hopeful positive thoughts and possibly a stroller &car-seat purchase too. It’s time for him to start helping out a bit. Am I right? Yep. I’m hoping (I’m sure he is too) for a little to no stress weekend with some adventures, some enjoyable moments, &hopefully zero disagreements.

I will be tied up all weekend so there will be a pregnancy revisited post later on tonight or tomorrow. So, if baby bumps aren’t your thing then check back later in the weekend or Monday where we hopefully be having another giveaway!

We’re at 299 followers right now. If we can bring in one more and make it to the 300 mark this weekend, there will be another handmade giveaway sponsored by the very talented Rene at v e r t e b r a e.

About the Diet Water post:
I’ve had a lot of great comments and personal questions to yesterdays: Diet Water – Why I’m Vegan post. I plan on doing a {Q&A} post to answer every question. If you have anymore questions please don’t hesitate to ask! I will answer everything the best I can 🙂

Also,
After Kaitlin mentioned the documentary: Earthlings, another reader, Fynn: saw the comment, watched the movie, and now plans on giving up dairy. I’ve never recommended it because I’ve never watched it (It’s hard to recommend something you’ve never done yourself. I never watched it because I was already vegan when it came out). However, I have heard really great things about it. &have heard if you’re considering becoming vegan, this movie will most likely convince you to make the switch to vegan instantly. So again, I’ve never watched it myself, but Earthlings might be something you should consider watching if you’re thinking about becoming vegan. I wouldn’t recommend eating while you’re watching though. Just sayin’.

  1. I have triple checked spam folders, and deleted folders. ladyt72287@aol.com– I may have typed it wrong before! I had emailed you not too long ago about the mobile for a friend 🙂 same email!

  2. I don't think anyone who has made the decision already to be vegan needs to watch Earthlings – no need to preach to the choir or upset yourself emotionally when you're doing everything you can. <3

  3. @the peanut gallery: Love your blog and happy to have you with us!

@Kaitlin: You know it! I was never able to bring myself to watch the movie… but hopefully other people do!

@Etosia: I know what you mean. Tonight was nice and breezy though!

@Tia: You should have def. received the email. Double check. If you didn't then there was a mistake and let me know so we can get you that fishy tee!

baby daddy better be good this weekend, you've got a bunch of momma blogger who have your back- ahem!

lovely sponsors- did you guys ever email me about the barley and birch giveaway? I've been trying to keep an eye out- I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss it. I always leave my email to build up to 1000 emails and get lazy. sigh. just let me know- we're excited :)!!

  6. Thank you for mentioning my comment about the Earthlings documentary – it prompted me to blog about how I felt about it, and my decision to become vegan.

Joaquin Pheonix was quoted as saying "Everyone one person who watches Earthlings will tell three". Even though it was largely ignored by distributors, little by little we can get the word out there.

    Go, girl!
