There is something about the smell of my mother’s home that reminds me of the end of christmas and beginning of new years, after my visits with my father. It reminds me of the day before school and the anticipation of what I will wear and who I will share class with. No matter how many years pass, I still feel the need to run— not walk, up each wooden step.

I was thinking to myself how gorgeous this home was, and then I got to the last photo and I'm pretty sure I've ran through that neighborhood a bunch of times when I was in high school/college and still lived in Worcester. It looks really familiar haha!

I was at my Mom's house yesterday and I was thinking how much I love her home. It is so true. The smells, the feelings – it's all so great! Your Mom has some great features. Hope you had a nice visit.
Love this. Especially the basket of wine corks. I've been trying to figure out what to do with all the corks I've been saving.
