I can’t believe how quickly Marlowe’s first birthday is approaching. With: my poor sense of timing and my… well, mom brain… I thought I had another two weeks until the big day. It was quite a shock to find myself at the beginning of this week with no decorations made and hardly an event time even chosen. Five days left until the BIG day and small gathering. The decorations are (now) mostly made, the menu is about 75% planned, and the house is no where near clean. I’m hoping everything goes smoothly, the weather is cool, clear, and not too sunny, and that Marlowe has the best day imaginable… along with the family (and few friends) invited. Five days left and my child, my baby, my tiny little–quickly growing, daughter is one.
