I have a story to share with you in the next few days. I enjoy this place: the place where I write and the place where I share. I share openly because I am content with who I am and the life I live. While I am not perfect, I do not live with regret. I believe in truth and I believe in honesty. If I cannot be honest, then I know I am living a life I am not proud of. I am proud of the mother I am. I am proud of the person I am. And I am proud of the life I share with my daughter and everyone who surrounds us. Thank you for coming here and peeking into my home as I document and share my life.

  1. I love your honesty. It is so refreshing, and I'm glad it makes you happy to share your life here.

  2. I agree with Chelsey. I always feel like I'm having coffee with you when I read your blog. You let us all into your heart and head and it's inspiring!

  3. Even if at times I have been frustrated and want to yell at the computer, "No! Don't!" I have appreciated your honesty. The blog world can be a dangerous place…where people choose to portray a fantasy for others to consume…and therefore creating a life based on projected fantasy. I have stopped reading a lot of blogs because of that. I am a mother and I enjoying sharing ideas and reading about others experiences as a parent, but "mommy blog" as genre has grown tiresome for me as well. I appreciate the food posts, the emotions, the victories and defeats that you've shared…as this is REAL life and whether people want to admit it or not…we all struggle. Life is not one pretty perfect picture and our children are all not beautiful geniuses. Let's embrace each other in all our imperfection and our struggles. May the blog world one day be a place of support–instead of the Land of "If Only's".

  4. your blog is one of the only honest and real blogs i have found. you don't just write about the clothes your family is wearing and about all the things you can buy…you have real problems and i think you connect with your readers on a friendship level, because you allow us into you life – to hear what is happening and support you, comfort you and guide you if needed. i love that your blog isn't the shell of you, isn't the best side of you that you put on to show but it really is you.

  5. I think the reason people are drawn to your blog is because you are real and honest. There are tons of bloggers out there but not many who are willing to share the good the bad and the ugly. It is a breath of frest air ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. I'm so glad that you share your life, good and bad. I know, at least for me, you teach me that you can overcome. Your mistakes make you real, instead of some blogger just showing pictures of her beautiful house and cute outfits and giving the impression that her life is a breeze, you really do more than that. Thank you!

  7. That quote reminds me of my new mantra.
โ€œThere is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.โ€ -Thich Nhat Hanh

But I know you already get it. It is good to have affirmations for yourself like those above and it is also good to share them with others. Thank you for sharing that and everything else on this special niche on the Internet.

    • I am not… but shortly after posting this post I realized that people might think that… judging by the fact that he is a pretty stable and steady person. But we are just friends ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • I agree, the first thing I thought of when reading this post was Eric. A lot of your readers are enchanted by Eric ๐Ÿ™‚

    • hehe. I get it, I really do. But no, nothing about Eric. No new loves, nothing like that ๐Ÿ˜‰
