We’re chugging along here into the month of November. And even though the bedrooms still need some intense scraping and sanding, I’m almost done. Well, a house is never done, but I’m almost moved in and it’s coming out beautiful, really πŸ˜‰ The photo above is the big room (a before photo). You can see a bit of the quirkiness (“character”) that existed, for however long, before my arrival. I’ve changed it a bit, but not much (just enough). SO MANY changes, mostly good, but some bad,Β have taken place in the past few months (not just in this house, but in our lives) and it completely blows my mind. Thank you so much for joining us in this fun (and only a little bit stressful) journey we’ve been on. Thank you for your kind words, enthusiasm, and well wishes. I’m very (VERY) much looking forward to the Florida winter. Where our extra time can be filled with gardening, outdoor dinner parties (I’ve uncovered the most amazing overgrown pergola, in the backyard), crafting, and SO MUCH cooking. The new kitchen is small, but opens up into the big room, and is filled with so much light. I can’t wait to spend weekend days, eating with Marlowe and friends, after documenting more (and more, and more) recipes. November is going to be a good month. Thanks for joining us.
One more week… slowly, but surely.
