She’s grown quite a bit since her first beach day, hasn’t she? πŸ™‚ We enjoy the beach around here. We don’t quite as often as you think we would— but I think that’s pretty standard for anyone actually living near the beach—- and for anyone with small kids πŸ™‚ But every time we go to the beach (every single time) we think ‘we should do this more’. The tourist and snow bird count goes up quite a bit in the winter and for spring break— and parking gets a tad bit ridiculous, but still it’s worth the trip. And always nice to pop in for icecream or a paleta as a ‘special treat’ after the beach.
It’s no surprise that we have a stock pile of different swimsuits over here. I have bathing suit pieces from 13 years ago! Yes, seriously—- apparently my body is similar to a 15 year olds— waugh waughhh. And marlowe, well we have trouble finding good fit bathing suits for. The straps are too long or her tush hangs out, it’s no bueno. We have a lot of different bathing suits for her too. It really seems like she outgrows one every beach trip. But her new one? She literally squealed when we put it on her because she was so happy it fit. Also, I don’t know if you guys have ever heard of upf bathing suits— I’ve seen them for adults, but don’t own one myself, but owning one is a pretty good perk when beaching it with a little one. That extra layer of protection is key. I’m not a bathing suit snob over here, but after 15 years of saving money to buy bathing suits for myself (they can sometimes be pricey, cant they?) I pretty much *know* what I want in a good suit. I’d hate to have this sound like a review, when it’s not really meant to be, but Marlowe and I are both incredibly happy with sunuva. A good fitting, adorable suit? Yes. Thank you. Perfect.
We’re looking forward to a few more weeks (fingers crossed: months) of beach time before it gets too unbearably hot πŸ™‚

  1. I wish I lived by a beach! I live right in the middle of the US, no beach around. And no matter what time of year we visit anywhere with a beach, we always go to it, no matter the temperature! Don't worry, we only swim when the weather permits. πŸ™‚

  2. Can't wait for summer when I look at these pictures…
And gosh how cute she is, with those braids and that dress πŸ™‚

  3. Our beach is too cold for swimming, but we used to have beach picnics all the time when we moved here and now it's only every few months. Luckily we have friends who also want to have more picnics so we have had two with them the last two months.

    • people think I'm not, but our beach is too cold for me! haha. Picnics are the ay to go!

  4. We love going to beach too, hours of simple, happy entertainment. I love that dress, it's so sweet. Just boys for me, so no pretty dresses and bathing suits here. Sigh. They do know how to have fun though. Hope you guys are having a good week. CJ xx
