I had the great pleasure of teaming up with my friend Halle Frey of Flower & Fringe to host a flower crown event at Anthropologie this weekend. It was seriously a perfect morning. We had a great group of ladies learning how to make crowns with us—- and when I say ‘us’, I absolutely mean ‘me’ learning— not Halle. Halle is a wizard with flowers. And I’m a man handling daisy killer— to put it lightly. Precision and grace is not my business— I’m a bit all over the place myself.
An-y-way— it was a blast. Purple cocktails, lemonade, lavender cookies made by the fine folks of Anthro. Flowers everywhere from Flower &Fringe. Awesome people to meet. And some pretty amazing flower crowns to take home for all of us.
My friend Alana helped and scared me quite a bit when I would look down and realize my brother’s camera wasn’t in front of me anymore—- thanks for that, A. And Halle, like I said, she’s a flower wizard. Both those girls have been bringing the extra touch of inspiration and creativity I’ve been longing for lately. And in general, like I said before, I feel pretty lucky that I get to spend my days doing awesome things with amazing people.
Thanks SO MUCH to those who came out to create such a fun morning!
&If you’re interested, you can see more photos HERE too π Thanks Xio!
&If you happen to read this, Jesse—I want to be best friends with you and your purple shirt.

I swear you might me quite jealous with the way you can take such beautiful photos. It almost feels as though I was there, haha. Which I wish I was because this sure does look like fun! Such a beautiful idea too. I wish in small town Sherman that we had nice group gatherings like this for the neighborhood. I may just need to move to FL.
Let's see if I can convince my husband of it!
