Last week I mentioned TOMS new TOMSforTarget holiday line— and well, I’m back today to talk about it once again. I know we’re passing black friday and pulling full speed into this holiday season— and it’s obviously great in a lot of ways. I have a lot of thoughts racing in my mind about the season (like I always do)— and what I can personally do to make a change and what I can say to hopefully inspire others as well. The holiday season will always seem to revolve around gifts in one way or another and realistically, there seems to be little ways of escaping this. Well, I’m finally, after how many ever years learning to be okay with this– and more than that, I’m hoping to push myself to approach it differently. Instead of pushing for no gifts (never going to happen), I’m pushing for gifts that make a positive change. There are a lot of companies out there big and small, that are hoping to make a positive change in this consumerism based world— and TOM’s is one of them. For every gift you purchase, no what size or what price, from their holiday line, you’re offering one item of need to another person.

The shelves are already wearing thin and selling out— but there are still items for grab, in store and online. Family, friends, teachers, whatever, there are options for everyone. This year, when considering how to make the ones you love happy, think about what more you can do. Ask yourself, not only who you will make happy but also: who made the item, who will benefit from the item, and will this purchase make someone happy and a difference. So if you’re looking for gifts, remember this holiday season TOMS is offering one blanket via American Red Cross, one week of meals via Feeding America, or one pair of shoes for every gift you buy from their gift collection 😉

Also: because this is waaaaaay too adorable to skip—- these little ladies in a together sweater:

Yep, love them.

#TOMSforTarget:  One-for-One. For All. Starting November 16th, for every Target+Toms limited edition gift you buy, we’re (Target) giving shoes, a blanket or meals to those in need.

  1. I bought the denim shirt for myself and didn't even feel guilty!! I try not to purchase things for myself during this time of year but with this deal at least someone will get a weeks worth of food!

  2. TOMS is great for doing this! Target also. Thank you for sharing this. I'll definitely check Target out later this week 🙂
