I’m not going to lie… there’s a ridiculous amount of photos in this post (and photos of curse words, so if you care about the sort of thing, that was your warning). Buttloads of photos seems to be a trend lately, but whatever, it’s too hard to choose sometimes! Ya know?
Well, sparkle party number two was officially a success. Loads of people came– I didn’t even photograph most of them. In fact— I hardly photographed any of them! I pretty much forgot to take photos. Yep. Lucky for me, I can pretty much plop down my camera at events and gatherings and know that my lady Alana will pick it up and snap a bunch of (mostly really random) photos for me. You should see the selfies I’ve found. (thanks, boo).
We made a mix for french 75 cocktails (just add champagne), lots of little things on toast, a fire pit, and of course sparkles everywhere. I’m only slightly ashamed to tell you I couldn’t open one eye for a good amount of days after– possibly (most likely) because of a glitter encounter. But whatever, worth it. With the exception of two new sparkle tassels and some other random glitterized do-dads, I was able to just re-use all my decorations from the last sparkle party.
A huge thank you to all my friends who dressed up again and fulfilled my “hey we made it one month into the new year, so lets have a random sparkle party” dream. I love you guys. So much.

I’m a cat, duh.

glitter everything.

my friend halle made the most awesome floral jewelry. I have better daytime photos to share. But it’s so fun and gorgeous, right? She also glittered full bouquets for me! You can see some photos she took HERE 🙂

good friends bring vegan cupcakes 😉
(….. and now I want a cupcake. booooo)

and the morning after— because thats the time I remember to take photos of course….

A blast for sure. And thankful parts of it were documented.  Sad I don’t have more pictures of Alex and I, or laura, or Emily, but beyond grateful for the people in my life. Seriously. I wish I could see more of the people I love every single day, but this will do for now.

I hope everyone is having an awesome week! It’s been a good one over here. Slowly prepping for India. Finalizing last minute details (holy awesome hotel upgrade), sending out info to all the ladies, getting shots (boooooo), buying luggage (yay!), and anxiously thinking over everything. Also, I spent a good few hours yesterday cleaning up my section of the garden— it seems alex puts his efforts in one part and I put my effort in another– and I’m happy I finally cut up on cleaning up my stuff! Hoping to get a garden update post together sometime 🙂

Happy happy wednesday, friends! Thank you for being here. Next time you’re all invited to my sparkle party, k? 🙂
