same as before, but added pears and radish greens to the sauté. and mashed avocado spread underneath.
If you’ve been following along on twitter and instagram, you know: I’m exhausted. I’m trying to find the time and energy to write about the hellish experience that Marlowe and I encountered, flying back from California. A traveling nightmare, is an understatement. The good news is: we did make it home. And it feels so good to be here. The other good news is: really big and amazing things have been happening to us, since we returned. I’ll be back as soon as I can with the worst story ever, and the best news ever. Until then, toast (again). Really delicious toast.

Sorry to hear about your awful traveling experience. Flying with my son is always tough. I still haven't got the hang of it quite yet, but I'm pretty sure all people at the airport hate me. So glad you made it home though! Beautiful photo!

Have you ever thought about putting a Things on Toast "cookbook" together? I'd totally buy one.
totally. It's on my "in the next two years" to-do list.
