A new friend of mine, Kristine, had a double lung transplant a few years ago. She celebrates her new lungs’ (awesomely named ‘Vinny’ & ‘Veronica’) birthday every year. I missed it this year due to pregnancy exhaustion. Well today is her birthday….but not her lungs birthday… but I figured I would make a combined gift for her and her lungs.
