Paloma Sol: our newly purchased 3.8-acre organic permaculture farm.

In the summer of 2021, we unexpectedly found our new home: a 3.8-acre farm located at the base of a volcano on the shores of Lake Atitlan in the highlands of Guatemala. We are completely off-grid with zero road access. And to make things more adventurous:  our property is only accessible by boat or by a 45-minute hike from the Mayan village of Chacaya.

We have high hopes for our little organic farm. We hope to build a retreat center for families to learn about sustainable-nature-based living, healthy cooking, and indigenous Mayan art and wisdom. Our goal is to ensure every action we take benefits our community and all living beings directly and indirectly connected to our space. This planet and the life on it are so incredibly amazing, we’re grateful to exist and grow here. It’s a lot of work, but little by little we look forward to our dreams unfolding.

Thank you for being here. We hope you like our space and our new adventure.
