Beach days.

Normal things in my car.

We woke up like this.

Art museum visits.

Beach days alone with him. Alex was still working the night shift when Marlowe started at school. So we snuck off to the beach every morning. He’s schedule is all upside down and backward now, so it’s been a minute since we’ve had this.

Post-school park hangs.

cuddle mornings.

Art is important. And fun.

Picnic dinners.
I had raw lettuce wraps. Alex had spring rolls. Marlowe had fruit, kale salad, and some of my food too.
She’s cute.
Blue and white is my uniform. It even matches my book.
Welcome to my studio, haha. Alex took this picture of me. Making pillows for Marlowe’s bed.

Happy Friday friends! I hope you guys have an amazing weekend! We’ve been jam-packed over here. But things are good. If you haven’t yet, check out the video tour of our condo and if you’re interested in sustainable living and vegan or fruitarian eating check out our Costa Rica retreat!

I mentioned this on insta the other day– but I’m pulling more and more away from social media and want to get back to journalingย here more ๐Ÿ™‚ If there is anything specific you’d like to see/learn more about, feel free to reach out ๐Ÿ™‚ Cheers!

  1. Love that you’re going to be on the blog more often! Food that’s delicious and healthy are my jam so would love to see more of that…also more jam! Ciao

  2. Glad you are coming back over here. I discovered you many moons ago when my daughter was a wee babe…on this blog right here. I would love to see more “What I Eat in A Day” posts with recipes. Those lettuce wraps look great but what is in them? I would love to do more vegan, but I am pretty clueless and get bored easily of beans and rice, etc. You are very inspiring with the food! Also, the pillows! I would love to read a mini tutorial if possible. I see you do not use a pattern. How did you learn to sew so well and so spontaneously?! Again, you are an all around inspiration! Can’t wait to read more.

    • Yes! I will try to do more of what we eat posts ๐Ÿ™‚ It has been a lot of bananas ice cream for me lately since Marlowe is at school and I’m lazy, haha. Alex actually made the lettuce wraps so i can’t say for certain, but i think it was pineapple, peppers, onions, and a light lime sauce ๐Ÿ™‚ You can always come on my upcoming retreat and learn how to make all the delicious healthy foods ๐Ÿ™‚

For the pillows, I just sewed up three sides to a rectangle, flipped it, stuffed it, and hand-stitched the remaining side. Def not an expert seamstress by any means. Got a sewing machine when I was pregnant and started trying out basic projects ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you!

  3. Okay, I’m loving those lettuce wraps. I’m thinking with my stomach right now. Also, that first pic of you and your baby girl is so sweet. I have one of Chloe (my youngest) and I when she was little and we were giving each other an Eskimo kiss. It’s still one of my faves to this day. ๐Ÿ™‚
