Sunday evening Eric and I went to the Yardhouse for Danielle’s birthday dinner. There was a fair amount of food, drinks, and people there. Afterwards we headed back to my neighborhood, parked in front of my house and walked to the bar down the street to meet Danielle and Fabian. It was a late night (it probably wasn’t even that late, but it of course felt late to me) and I woke up with a little bit of a hangover (maybe my first one in two years?), but it was quite nice to get out of the house for a bit and spend time with friends. I haven’t really been out late in over a month– not without Marlowe anyway.

When we headed to the bar we first checked the bar further down the street (which we prefer), but we didn’t care for the crowd, so we headed back torwards my house and chose the bar with three people inside.
We started unscrewing and changing light bulbs since it was much too bright at our table.
Ran into Devon… or he ran into us.
Monday was Nicole’s birthday. So my mom and I headed to the store and picked up decorations and food to prepare that evening. We set up balloons and made a pasta dinner and pre dinner snacks. Michelle had brought over more homemade bread earlier day and it worked great for bruschetta.
We tied a balloon to Jerry’s collar. I have never ever seen him so amused. He loved it. I plan on doing this again in the future.
