Michelle came by yesterday and left me with some much needed relief. It was awesome. She came by, taught me how to crochet, and then held Marlowe while I practiced my first hat! I was with some wonderful company, my arms got a break, my brain was taught something new, Marlowe was entertained– all while making a hat! Fabulous. I started trying to teach myself to crochet the week before Marlowe’s birth. It didn’t work out very well, but I think I finally got the hang of it this time! And the best part is Marlowe is highly entertained by my crocheting. Now hopefully I will be able to put to use the Crochet Magazine subscription Sara got me for Christmas.

  1. @Claudia – vacations are never time to learn how! And he is really funny 🙂 always making me smile!

    @Sarah -Thank you!

    @Lynn- HI! I remember you from the Lj days. Good times! Glad you found my blog! I added you back 🙂

  2. @Nikki – it was easy with someone showing me, I found it quite when attempting to learn on my own. Find a crocheting friend and learn! It's fun once you get the hang of it.

    @Jazmyn – Your hat posts all made me jealous. I'm super impressed that you taught yourself how and even more impressed that you find the time now!
