Michelle rode over on her cute pink bicycle with a whole loaf of homemade white bread and a tupperware full of vegetable soup for me today! She thought my Lasik surgery was tomorrow and wanted me to have a nice meal to eat πŸ™‚ My appointment isn’t until Friday, but lucky for me soup tastes better a few days after it is made! Since moving back to Lake Worth I have made some of the sweetest and considerate friends and I couldn’t be happier or more grateful! Marlowe and I really do have some amazing people in our lives.

Speaking of food, its Vegan Week at The Kitchn! I’m so excited! They’ve already posted recipes and reviews. And if you scroll back enough I think last week was actually soup week. Mmmm some of my favorite things.

Speaking of something or other, Michelle brought over a book she though I might enjoy: Made from Scratch: Discovering the Pleasures of a Handmade Life. I haven’t found a book I really enjoy and want to finish right away in a LONG time. I’m not much of a fiction fan and I find it very difficult to find a good read that I can relate to, but so far I really have enjoyed this book and look forward to finishing it soon. (Hopefully tomorrow since I wont be doing any reading after my Lasik).

Speaking of lucky and grateful, it’s time to go! Eric is here and trying to put Marlowe to sleep in her crib. He’s so incredibly good with her, but she’s not having it. Lets see if mama’s boobs can help in the sleeping situation. Wish us luck.
