I went fabric shopping with Heidi this week. It was dangerous. We went in to choose fabrics for her upcoming booth at the retro craft fair, we chose quite a few fun patterns, but I ended up leaving with a million different colors of felt and fabrics. Oops. Also, my amateur self never knew how to pick out (or use) patterns, but now with Heidi’s help I will have a new addiction to finding cute patterns at the store.  I have a ton of projects I really want to attempt to do, but of course this always depends on what Marlowe’s little self. I have been having a really hard time sleeping lately due to nightmares (thats a whole other story), but with my lack of sleep I guess I will have more time for 2 in the morning projects. I’ve made an apron last night for my niece’s friends birthday party. I have a few more to make and hopefully I will find some time for hand stitched projects. πŸ™‚

Heidi is planning on making a ton of fun aprons for the craft fair. I hope the fabrics I helped her choose are a big hit! Eric said he might even team up with his mom to sell some t-shirts. I hope so! It would be so nice! I love his creativity πŸ™‚
And the kiddie apron I just finished:

  1. @Boston to Nashville- I eventually want to start up an etsy. It's a bit difficult to get anything done right now living alone and taking care of the little one solo-full time! But one day!

    @Carey- I'm sure there are much better fabric stores in Chicago than here. I'm certain of it. I saw your post with the fabric swatches online you found. I'm convinced the way to go is online.

    @Miss Mallory- Thank you! I plan on selling a bunch of things in the (hopefully not too distant) future πŸ™‚

    @Bekah- You know she needs one πŸ™‚

    @Jazmyn Alexandria- Craft store = heaven and hell. Need more money and more time!

    @Claudia – thanks dear πŸ™‚

  2. Drea! That is adorable! I want to make Ocean one!
    I agree, Etsy is the way you should go, or hell, sell them on your blog!

  3. Those are amazing fabrics! I need to find a larger fabric store here in Chicago. I have a bit of a fabric addiction.
