It’s going to be raining for a few days and most of my recent pictures feel a bit too dark  for my liking. So, I figured I should post a few bright photos from our recent pop in to the beach. I have a whole set of pictures from our recent garden trip too (M and I and some of our favorite ladies) and a whole set of words in mind about land vs sea and what we prefer. But really, none of it is about what I prefer, it’s really just that I feel so lucky to have both (and more). Gardens, the tropics, the ocean, farms too. It works out perfectly for my ever changing mood, my pick up and go’s, and my constant indecisiveness. I like having a little bit of all of it. I’m neither land locked nor sea bound today. Today, I will be in another one of my favorite spots, cozied up at home.

  3. My mom is in Miami and we were supposed to go and visit her for spring break but money got tight so plans changed. I live in Cincinnati and we are stuck in the polar vortex right now which sucks completely! So I love coming to your blog and getting a little color and sunshine in my life. thx!

  4. Ugh, this looks so dreamy. Winter with a new baby has got me going stir crazy! I can't remember if I've ever commented on your blog before, but thank you for sharing pieces of your life with us.

  5. I love the way you make the environment around inspire and satisfy you. We create our little nooks of happiness, I'm happy you've found (participated in creating) yours. xxx

  6. We continually keep getting feet of snow so the fact that you guys are even able to outside AT ALL is soooo not fair. Cannot wait to move somewhere warmer!! Beautiful photos!
