short term solution to a long term problem
Hey guys, so— I took a break, if you can even call it that. Resting my wrists. Got a cortisone shot today, a temporary solution to a long term problem– not my preferred route, but after 7-8 months of pain that was only progressively getting worse, well, it was needed. If it wasn’t for all the good around me, I’d be majorly bumming. Working on working on it— before, still, and later. Oof. I’ll just blame it on my child sized wrists, whatever. Ate a cookie. Ate some pizza. I let down my tough guy face and just wallowed for about 36 hours at home— and now I’m ready to move up and out. The tingles in my hand are wearing away and I’m looking forward to waking up in the morning without the shooting pains in my arm and just going about my productive, sunny days.
Lots of good things are coming up— and I have some really, really exciting news to share early next week! I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend!

At least you don't have to wear the cone like the pup, right? Ours got spayed last week too…hey ho. Feel better!

Ouch! My wrists are bad. I started getting massages every two weeks and found that it is from weakness and tightness in my upper back muscles and chest/neck muscles. It's a slow and painful healing process, but well worth it. Good luck with yours!

Sorry you're having these wrist problems, I hope the cortisone works well and that it eases off naturally over time. Dear, dear Waylon. Sigh. No baby Waylons.
